## Description

The Senior Network Engineer/Developer is expected to be able to accomplish the following:

 + Develop specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.

 + Conduct cost-benefit analyses and support hardware/software selection decisions.

 + Perform testing and validation of network designs.

 + Monitor network hardware to verify proper configuration and performance.

 + Plan and execute network enhancements and upgrades.

 + Advise users on hardware requirements, configurations, and limitations.

 + Maintain deep technical expertise across routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, and related infrastructure.

 + Evaluate emerging communications technologies for future deployment., We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer/Developer to join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agency's Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III). The Senior Network Engineer/Developer will design, plan, develop, test, secure, and optimize enterprise-level network solutions in support of mission-critical operations. This position plays a key part in the architecture, evaluation, deployment, and modernization of network communications systems across the agency.
