The position is assigned procurements that are difficult but not typically complex in nature and may influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices. ## Description This position is responsible for obtaining information technology (IT)-related goods and services required by the agency, with a primary focus on software and SaaS procurement. The position evaluates IT vendors and contracts, including Requests for Quotes (RFQ), Requests for Proposals (RFP), and Requests for Information (RFI). This is a project-based role requiring strong research, negotiation, analytical, and evaluation skills. The analyst conducts market and vendor research, evaluates services, recommends supplier selections, and supports business areas during procurement and negotiations., * Manage end-to-end procurement of IT products and services. * Lead software and SaaS acquisitions, renewals, and vendor evaluations. * Evaluate IT vendors, contracts, pricing, services, and proposals. * Develop and evaluate RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs. * Research vendors, products, services, pricing, and market alternatives. * Provide supplier selection recommendations based on research and evaluation. * Support business areas in evaluating IT goods and services. * Participate in and support vendor negotiations. * Optimize software licenses and manage software portfolio costs. * Manage contract renewals and ensure procurement activities are completed efficiently. * Collaborate with IT, Legal, Finance, and Information Security (InfoSec). * Ensure cost-efficiency, regulatory compliance, and effective SaaS operations.
