Strong experience creating REST API specifications, interface designs, mappings, sequence flows, error handling, security, and monitoring requirements. 3. Experience designing integrations for Salesforce or comparable CRM and customer platforms with enterprise systems and digital channels. 4. Knowledge of customer channels, CIS, billing, payments, notifications, data services, and operational-system integrations. 5. Ability to translate business processes and architecture direction into clear, testable, implementation-ready designs. 6. Strong facilitation, documentation, design-review, and communication skills across distributed teams., 1. Salesforce integration design experience involving OmniStudio or OmniScript; Energy & Utilities Cloud experience is strongly preferred, with Clean Energy Module experience considered an additional plus. 2. Utility or regulated-industry customer API experience. 3. SAP BTP, MuleSoft, API management, event-driven, cloud integration, or relevant integration credentials ## Description The Senior Integration Designer - Customer APIs leads detailed API and interface design for customer-facing and customer-operations capabilities. The role converts architecture, customer journeys, business processes, and nonfunctional requirements into implementation-ready API and integration designs., 1. Lead API and interface discovery, current-state analysis, and detailed design for customer-facing integrations. 2. Design APIs supporting Energy & Utilities Cloud, Service Cloud, OmniStudio and OmniScript, the Clean Energy Module, Data Cloud, portals, mobile, billing, payments, notifications, and operational systems. 3. Create API specifications, interface designs, sequence diagrams, data-flow diagrams, mappings, message definitions, transformation rules, and error-handling requirements. 4. Define REST, event-driven, asynchronous, batch, webhook, pub/sub, and near-real-time designs consistent with architecture standards. 5. Document security, authentication, authorization, privacy, validation, monitoring, resiliency, and support requirements. 6. Analyze legacy interfaces, identify reusable capabilities, remove obsolete logic, and reduce redundant integrations. 7. Guide developers through design clarification, support testing and defect resolution, and maintain implementation-ready documentation. 8. Coordinate with architects, Business Analysts, Salesforce, SAP BTP, data, security, QA, and operations teams. 9. Use client-provided or client-approved AI acceleration tools when appropriate for analysis, requirements, design, development, documentation, testing, and defect resolution.
