In addition, you enjoy hands-on work with hardware, including reading circuit diagrams, soldering, and performing measurements. * You enjoy working with people from all over the world and are fluent in both German and English. * You are able to understand, review, create, and maintain technical documentation in both German and English. ## Description In our Hardware & Embedded Technologies division, we integrate and test Frequentis and third-party hardware, as well as the Frequentis Embedded Linux Distribution, and provide these platforms to products and projects across all Frequentis business units. Here, you won't just integrate and test new technologies, you'll play a key role in connecting different teams and projects, ensuring smooth collaboration and successful implementation. Technologies & Tools: Hardware expertise (reading and interpreting circuit diagrams), hands-on experience with measurement equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.), soldering, Linux, Linux shell scripting, Python, C/C++, Ethernet and IP networking (basic knowledge of SIP and RTP is an advantage), Jira, Jama, Jenkins, SVN, Git, Black Duck, Coverity, Wireshark, and the use of Raspberry Pi for test automation. Key Tasks * You test and integrate Frequentis embedded hardware and software, as well as third-party components. * You act as the interface between project management, hardware development, and software development, helping to ensure that developments are completed on time and within budget. * You support troubleshooting and root cause analysis by reviewing system setups, circuit diagrams, and occasionally source code, developing small test programs to reproduce issues, or performing measurements with oscilloscopes to guide developers toward effective solutions. * You design and execute test cases to verify the functionality, compatibility, and reliability of hardware and software components. * You set up and configure test environments to verify that system requirements can be met and validated. * You document your solutions, findings, and technical expertise using tools such as Jira, Jama, and Confluence. * You contribute to reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve quality, maintainability, and test coverage. * You are part of the Hardware Team and support colleagues across different teams with your technical know-how and expertise., Around 2,600 employees are committed to creating a safer world with their innovative strength and technology orientation.
