## About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Officer to join a successful and supportive secondary school in Southwark.  * Has experience working with school data systems or administrative databases.
 * Demonstrates excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
 * Is confident using Microsoft Excel and other data management software.
 * Can analyse and present data clearly and accurately.
 * Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
 * Works effectively both independently and collaboratively.
 * Brings a proactive, professional, and solution-focused approach to their work.

Previous experience in a school environment is desirable but not essential.

## Description

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the school's data management and reporting systems and will:

 * Maintain and manage student data using the school's Management Information System (MIS).
 * Produce accurate reports and analysis relating to attendance, assessment, behaviour, and student progress.
 * Support staff and senior leaders with data collection, tracking, and performance analysis.
 * Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with GDPR regulations.
 * Assist with census returns, examinations data, and statutory reporting requirements.
 * Work closely with teaching and administrative staff to support school improvement priorities.
 * Provide administrative and technical support relating to school data systems and processes.

There may also be opportunities to contribute to wider operational and administrative projects across the school.
