## Description

Data Centre Engineer - HFT ColoQuant Capital is working with a high-performance trading firm looking to hire a Data Centre Engineer with strong Linux exposure to support critical infrastructure across London and EMEA sites.This is a hands-on role combining physical infrastructure, Linux-based provisioning and scripting. You'll be working in live environments where uptime matters, supporting deployments, troubleshooting issues and improving how infrastructure is built and maintained.What you'll be doing * Supporting buildout and maintenance of data centre and colocation environments * Deploying and configuring servers using Linux and PXE-based provisioning * Rack, stack and cable server and network hardware * Troubleshooting hardware, connectivity and OS-level issues * Writing scripts (Bash/Python) to automate deployment and operational tasks * Managing inventory, hardware logistics and site coordination * Working with internal teams and external providers to deliver
