Come join the Fintech team as a Staff Software Engineer! You will help build the next generation of financial experiences in QuickBooks. You'll be part of a team responsible for crafting intuitive, reliable, and secure user interfaces across web and mobile platforms.

As a Staff Engineer, you will tackle our most complex technical challenges, delivering end-to-end solutions with a dedicated one-team mindset. You will serve as a technical leader who influences product and engineering strategy across teams, simplifying financial workflows for millions of small businesses.

Responsibilities

Solve ambiguous customer problems with robust and elegant technical solutions.

Lead the design and implementation of customer-facing applications from concept to production.

Drive engineering excellence as the technical lead in peer reviews for estimates, designs, and code.

Apply technical expertise to mentor engineers and solve complex programming challenges.

Contribute directly to the overarching design and architecture of the project.

Roughly 70% hands-on development and high-quality coding.

Resolve defects across testing, pre-production, production, and post-release phases.

Partner with product management, design, and other business units to influence product & tech solutions across teams.
