## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Cloud Computing, or related discipline.
 * Twelve (12+) years enterprise IT experience; seven (7+) years designing cloud architectures; five (5+) years leading cloud assessments, application modernization, or migration efforts in Federal/DoD environments.
 * Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert required/preferred; Cloud One/AWS GovCloud/Azure Government experience preferred; Security+ preferred.
 * Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
 * Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
 * Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Physical Demands:

 * Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
 * Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
 * Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. ship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

## Description

* Identify migration candidates and dependencies.
 * Develop target architectures, recommend service/deployment models, support cost-benefit analysis.
 * Guide secure implementation in AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, Cloud One, or other approved cloud environments.
