Five (5) years of experience must include: Supporting and troubleshooting Pega-based workflows and applications in production environments; Developing, debugging, and supporting enterprise-scale Java applications; Application deployment, configuration, performance tuning, and issue resolution in WebSphere environments; IBM MQ for message-based integration, including queue management, monitoring, and troubleshooting message flow issues; Incident, Problem, and Change Management, including experience handling production incidents, driving root cause analysis, and supporting change and release processes. Three (3) years of experience must include: Designing, consuming, and troubleshooting SOAP and RESTful web services; Writing and optimizing PL/SQL queries, procedures, and troubleshooting database-related issues. ## Description DESCRIPTION: Standard & Poor's Financial Services LLC seeks a Site Reliability Engineer who will design, develop, and implement solutions to eliminate existing defects within our workflow applications while increasing productivity for clients. Work with business teams to understand business requirements and design, develop and implement optimal software solutions and design. Confer with system analysts, engineers, and others to design systems to implement integrated ratings solutions, including training our teams on existing functionality, providing design and technical guidance. Validate system functionality and resolve defects and bugs reported by quality assurance (QA) teams. Build out new functionality and enhancements for our user community. Implement workflow software into clients' software systems, including maintaining and remediating any issues that may arise. Ensure our Ratings products are delivered in a timely manner. Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware (CASS, FASS) platforms, upgrade interfaces, and improve performance. Conduct defect remediation, including backend data changes, root cause analysis, expedited fixes, and scheduled software fixes for Pega-based workflow applications. Provide benchmarks for minimum performance standards and test whether implemented software meets these standards. Review technical code and provide feedback to align with coding best practices and architectural standards. Perform ongoing analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance of user interfaces and business rules strategies in PEGA.
