Design and manage High Availability Disaster Recovery (HADR) solutions. Perform database performance tuning and optimization. Monitor database health, storage growth, and resource utilization. Manage backup, recovery, cloning, and disaster recovery processes. Troubleshoot complex database issues and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Support database migrations and version upgrades. Implement database security standards and compliance controls. OpenShift / Kubernetes Administration Deploy and manage DB2 databases on Red Hat OpenShift. Configure StatefulSets, Persistent Volumes (PV), Persistent Volume Claims (PVC), and storage classes. Manage DB2 deployments using Operators and container images. Troubleshoot container, networking, and storage-related issues. Collaborate with OpenShift platform teams for cluster upgrades and maintenance. Support containerization and modernization initiatives.
