## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
 * Ten (10+) years cybersecurity engineering experience; five (5+) years supporting cloud security, DevSecOps security, or RMF engineering for DoD/Federal cloud-hosted systems.
 * Certification: CISSP, CCSP, CASP+, or equivalent required/preferred; Security+ required; AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, or Kubernetes security certification preferred.
 * Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
 * Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
 * Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Physical Demands:

 * Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
 * Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
 * Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. Top Secret preferred. ship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

## Description

* Implements secure IAM/RBAC/PAM and assesses Zero Trust control integration
 * Support STIG/SCAP/ACAS/security testing.
 * Review penetration test results, and engineers remediation strategies for cloud-hosted and containerized applications.
