## Description

We are seeking a Software Architect to provide architectural ownership and functional leadership within Clinical Imaging Software. As part of the Image Guided Therapy Devices (IGT-D) team, you will establish and shape the integration of software solutions across multiple existing imaging platforms while enabling teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, and innovative medical software products.

Your role:

 + Architectural Leadership:

 + Own and evolve the end-to-end software architecture for assigned products or platforms, balancing short-term delivery with long-term technical vision.

 + Define architectural principles, guardrails, and technology roadmaps, including non-functional requirements such as performance, security, safety, and scalability.

 + Review and challenge architectural proposals to ensure alignment with business strategy and regulatory requirements.

 + Functional & Technical Leadership:

 + Provide functional leadership for a focused team of software engineers, test engineers, requirements engineers and other members of the software team through coaching, mentoring, and capability development.

 + Foster a culture of technical excellence, built-in quality, and continuous improvement.

 + Contribute to talent identification, development, and succession planning for technical roles.

 + Software Delivery & Quality:

 + Enable teams to deliver high-quality software through clear architectural guidance and alignment with Agile / SAFe practices.

 + Ensure compliance with medical device regulations (FDA, MDR, ISO 13485, IEC 62304) and strong design control practices.

 + Cross-Functional Collaboration:

 + Collaborate with existing software leadership and resources, product management, quality, regulatory, clinical, and service stakeholders to align technical solutions with customer and business needs.
