ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsible for schematic capture, PCB layout review, BOM generation, debugging, and testing of server motherboards, backplanes, and add-on cards * Modify and enhance existing designs to improve performance, quality, and reliability of server products * Execute Design Verification Testing (DVT) using oscilloscopes and other lab equipment * Collaborate with BIOS, firmware, validation, and cross-functional teams to identify and resolve design and quality issues at an early stage * Ensure products meet engineering specifications, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations * Create comprehensive technical documentation, including product specifications, layout guidelines, test procedures, and, to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, * Self-motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic setting * Experience with Linux shell scripting and automated testing is a plus SALARY RANGE $148,000 - $165,000 The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. manufacturing handoff materials * Support smooth product transfer to manufacturing, provide strong technical support to contract manufacturers and production teams during sample and mass production stages * Offer technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers within the team * Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering; Master's degree is a plus * 5+ years of hands-on experience in hardware design, with a strong focus on x86 server motherboards * In-depth knowledge of digital, analog, and power circuit design, high-speed PCB layout, and signal integrity * Solid understanding of Intel architecture, Windows, and Linux operating systems * Proven experience with oscilloscopes and standard laboratory test equipment * Strong problem-solving and debugging skills for complex hardware issues * Excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational, and interpersonal skills * Demonstrated, ability
