## About the Role

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance, * Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) obtained prior to start

 * Experience in any of the following areas: Signal Processing Algorithms or Models, Image Processing Algorithms or Models, Detection Theory or Machine Learning
 * Experience with UNIX/Linux and demonstrated computer programming skills in C or C++ and using MATLAB or Python for data analysis

Experience may be obtained through on the job experience, research, coursework, or projects., * Preferred majors: Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or Math (STEM)

 * Strong mathematical modeling and problem-solving abilities.
 * Experience developing signal processing algorithms for airborne surveillance applications, signal & image processing, digital communications, detection and estimation theory, or AI/ML and training techniques.
 * Experience with Real-time Programming, software change management tools and processes.
 * Current Department of War Secret or Top Secret Clearance

## Description

* Specific duties may include performance analysis, algorithm development, algorithm analysis, trade study generation, statistical modeling, performance predictions, and data analysis for complex systems using Raytheon Engineering processes and practices.
 * Related day-to-day duties include participating in peer reviews and resolving identified technical problems.
 * This individual will interface with their team lead, team members, and related engineers on a daily basis, conduct or participate in customer and/or program presentations, and provide task progress status updates and work products to the team lead.
