## About the Role

* 15 years years strong experience in Data and Insurance .
 * 10+ years of experience in data modeling and data design (adjust as needed).
 * Strong P&C insurance domain knowledge, especially in:

 * Claims (FNOL, reserves, payments, recoveries/subrogation)
 * Policy (quotes, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, coverages)
 * Broker/Producer (hierarchies, commissions, appointments)
 * Insured / Party (customer, risk/locations, roles, relationships)
 * Hands-on expertise creating ER models and dimensional models for analytics.
 * Strong command of modeling concepts: normalization, referential integrity, slowly changing dimensions, surrogate keys, etc.
 * Experience with Erwin Modeling tool
 * Proficiency with SQL and ability to validate data through analysis and profiling.
 * Strong communication skills with the ability to work with cross-functional and distributed/offshore teams.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

 * Experience working with cloud data platforms: AWS / Databricks
 * Familiarity with data governance practices: business glossary, cataloging, stewardship, metadata management.
 * Exposure to Master Data Management (MDM) for Party/Customer/Producer data.
 * Understanding of regulatory/insurance reporting and auditability requirements.
 * Agile delivery experience (Scrum/Kanban) and tools (Jira/DevOps).
