Verantwoordelijk voor de technische inrichting, doorontwikkeling en standaardisatie van het Microsoft Azure-platform. De functie combineert diepgaande technische expertise met leiderschap. De Azure Cloud Lead Engineer vertaalt de architectuur naar een realiseerbaar technisch ontwerp, stelt technische kaders op en stuurt een team van Cloud engineers aan bij de implementatie. De rol werkt nauw samen met Enterprise-, Solution- en Security Architecten om een veilig, schaalbaar, beheersbaar en toekomstbestendig Azure-platform te realiseren. Naast de technische verantwoordelijkheid coacht de Azure Cloud Lead Engineer het team, bewaakt de kwaliteit van de oplossingen en stimuleert de toepassing van DevOps, automatisering en Infrastructure as Code. Technisch leidinggeven aan ontwikkeling van het Azure-team naast het vertalen van architectuur naar technische ontwerpen en implementaties. Ontwikkelen van standaarden, templates en governance voor Azure met het beheer team. Aansturen en coachen van Azure Cloud Engineers. Bewaken van kwaliteit, beveiliging, beschikbaarheid en performance. Samenwerken met Architecten, Security, Netwerkbeheer en Applicatieteams. Bevorderen van automatisering (Infrastructure as Code).
