Highly Desirable * Knowledge of Water/Wastewater treatment processes and pump station control strategy. * Knowledge or experience working with Schneider Modicon or Motorola Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). * Knowledge or experience in Aveva System Platform, Historian, and InTouch HMI software. * Knowledge or experience with Microsoft SQL Server. * Self-motivates, manages and performs personal daily activities and multiple tasks under the discipline of defined departmental business processes * Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing, to peers, management and customers at various levels of the organization. Do you know how to monitor for leaks in pipelines? Then bring your experience to Pinellas County Utilities! This position involves the development and maintenance of the Utilities Water/Wastewater Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) system in use throughout Pinellas County. The person in this role is responsible for providing technical support in a mission critical environment, working closely with Operations and Maintenance staff to solve a variety of complex problems related to water treatment, communications, and data collection. This type of work requires creative and original thinking, often in the absence of technical guidelines or precedents, and is performed under the general direction of more senior professionals. This SCADA Support Coordinator position is located at: 6730 142nd Ave N Largo 33771. Work Schedule: Hybrid schedule (up to 2 days per week remote).
