Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # CTO - Full remote - Social Discovery Group - **Company:** Social Discovery Group - **Location:** Lleida, Spain (Remote available) - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Agile Methodology, Computer Literacy, Continuous Integration, Distributed Systems, Event-Driven Programming, Scrum Methodology, Systems Development Life Cycle, Software Engineering, Delivery Pipeline, Kubernetes, Data Analytics, Microservices - **Published:** August 17, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.recruit.net/job/cto-full-social-discovery-group-jobs/C82A46C05B80C284 ## About the Role * Deep expertise in SDLC setup and optimization * Advanced IT project management and Delivery Management * Strong grasp of various project frameworks (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.) * Ability to track, measure, and improve the TTM metric * Product & Business Alignment * Deep understanding of the product approach and product creation/development lifecycles * Knowledge of product analytics to support data-driven engineering decisions * Ability to manage and prioritize a business backlog from an engineering perspective * Technical Literacy * Strong architectural understanding to evaluate the feasibility of product requests * Ability to map business requirements to technical execution plans * Proven expertisee in managing modern tech stack * High load (distributed architecture, microservices, event driven, syn/async, k8s, CI/CD * Strong software development background * Fluent Russian and English ## Description * Audit the current software development lifecycle (SDLC) to identify and eliminate bottlenecks * Design and implement engineering and project frameworks to reduce delivery cycles * Ensure predictable and transparent feature delivery without compromising quality * Drive Business Value Delivery * Act as the primary technical partner for the product organization (CPO, PMs, Designers) * Take ownership of the business backlog from a technical execution standpoint * Align engineering efforts and resource allocation directly with business and product goals * Optimize Development & Delivery Frameworks * Set up, scale, and manage robust SDLC processes * Introduce and enforce effective IT project management frameworks (Agile, Scrum, etc.) tailored to the product's needs * Establish a single source of truth for delivery status, risks, and timelines * Manage Cross-Functional Execution * Synchronize efforts across engineering, product, and design teams * Resolve dependencies and blockers in the delivery pipeline * Build structured execution systems rather than relying on ad-hoc fixes * Ensure Constructive Stakeholder Management * Validate product requirements against technical feasibility and system constraints * Provide reasoned, data-driven pushback to the product team and stakeholders when expectations are unrealistic * Present technical strategies, progress, and risks clearly to C-level executives, * Vacation 28 calendar days per year; * 7 wellness days per year (time off) that can be used to deal with household issues, to lie down and recover without taking sick leave; * Bonuses up to $5000 for recommending successful applicants for positions in the company; * 50% payment for professional training, international conferences, and meetings; * Corporate discount for English lessons; * Health benefits. According to the paychecks, if you are not eligible for corporate medical insurance, the company will compensate you with up to $ 1,000 gross per year per employee. The company provides all employees with an equipped workplace and all the necessary equipment (table, armchair, wifi, etc.) in our offices or co-working locations. In the other locations, the company provides reimbursement of workplace costs up to $ 1000 gross once every 3 years, according to the paychecks.
