If you're an accomplished .NET engineer who has started building genuinely useful applications with LLMs/GenAI, they want to hear from you. What you'll be doing * Building and evolving commercial applications using C#, .NET and modern web technologies * Designing and integrating Generative AI/LLM functionality directly into software products * Working with technologies such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, Gemini or local models * Exploring RAG, AI agents, Semantic Kernel, MCP, vector search and intelligent workflows * Engineering around the realities of production AI: accuracy, security, validation, guardrails, latency and cost * Working across the stack, including modern frontend technologies such as React, Angular or TypeScript * Modernising established products while helping shape how AI changes their capabilities * Taking ideas from experimentation through to production-ready customer functionality, Crucially, we're interested in engineers who have built with AI, not simply used Copilot or ChatGPT to generate code. That experience could be commercial, independent or through substantial personal projects - what matters is that you can explain what you built, how the model was integrated and the engineering decisions surrounding it. Why consider it? This is an opportunity to join a substantial software organisation at a point where AI is becoming a core part of its engineering and product strategy, rather than a side project., You'll remain a Software Engineer, but with the opportunity to make Applied AI a much bigger part of your career. ## Related Videos - [ Evaluating AI models for code comprehension](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1462-evaluating-ai-models-for-code-comprehension) - [Watch Tests Go Brrrr! : Getting Started with Cypress in ReactJS](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/282-watch-tests-go-brrrr-getting-started-with-cypress-in-reactjs) - [Building Multi-Tenant ASP.NET Core Applications: Best Practices and Real-World Solutions](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1552-building-multi-tenant-asp-net-core-applications-best-practices-and-real-world-solutions) - [Should we build Generative AI into our existing software?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1129-should-we-build-generative-ai-into-our-existing-software) - [Speak, Code, Deploy: Transforming Developer Experience with Voice Commands](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1159-speak-code-deploy-transforming-developer-experience-with-voice-commands) - [Best practices: Building Enterprise Applications that leverage GenAI](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1513-best-practices-building-enterprise-applications-that-leverage-genai) ## Related Articles - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Dev Digest 132 - Binging WADFlix?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/473-dev-digest-132-binging-wadflix) - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [How to Become an AI Engineer](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/331-how-to-become-an-ai-engineer) - [Where To Find Software Engineering Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/396-where-to-find-software-engineering-jobs)
