You will ideally have: * Experience maintaining critical electrical and/or mechanical infrastructure. * A technical qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Building Services, or a related discipline. * Knowledge of mission-critical operations and maintenance procedures. * Experience working on: + HV/LV Power Distribution Systems + Switchgear + Transformers + UPS Systems + Standby Generators + Chillers + CRAC/CRAH Units + Cooling Towers + Pumps and Pipework + Building Management Systems (BMS) * Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance. * Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills. * Good IT literacy, including Microsoft Office applications. * The ability to work effectively within a 24/7 shift environment. * Excellent communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach. Desirable: * Experience with electrical switching and isolation procedures within a critical environment. * Previous data centre or critical facilities experience. * Authorised Person (AP) or similar HV/LV experience. ## Description A leading data centre operator is seeking a Site Engineer II to join its mission-critical operations team in Woking. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical or mechanical engineer looking to develop their career within a highly technical and fast-paced critical environment.Working within a state-of-the-art data centre, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure that supports business-critical services. Your New Role As a Site Engineer II, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, testing, and monitoring of critical infrastructure across the facility. You will support the delivery of service level agreements, maintain compliance with safety and operational procedures, and contribute to the continuous improvement of site performance.
