You'll be designing and assuring information systems landscapes, turning business requirements into pragmatic, enterprise-aligned solution designs. If you have a TOGAF background and experience in major, complex infrastructure projects, this one's worth a look. Working Patterns and location - Hybrid - 2-3 days on site per week Key responsibilities * Analyse business requirements and provide feedback on feasibility, appropriateness, and available solutions. * Lead solution optioneering and support business case development, weighing risks, costs and complexity. * Prepare logical solution designs and supporting narratives within formal Solution Design Documents. * Maintain enterprise architecture models using agreed methods and tooling. * Collaborate with technical, security, data and integration architects to deliver coherent end-to-end designs. * Present and defend solution designs to review panels, working groups and senior stakeholders. * Act as solution design authority during delivery, assuring supplier and internal designs against approved architecture. * Prepare as-realised enterprise architecture models following solution implementation. Skills & experience * Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, particularly TOGAF, and their application in large-scale programmes. * Experience designing information systems architecture across engineering, procurement, construction and operations environments. * Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into pragmatic, justified solution designs. * Experience working across cross-disciplinary teams, aligning technical solutions with enterprise strategy. * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders confidently. * Experience in complex major projects within highly regulated or safety-critical sectors. * Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and work at pace in a multi-party environment. * Degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent professional experience. The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential: * Knowledge of nuclear industry standards, regulations and wider industrial context. * Experience with AI and machine learning use cases in engineering or operational settings. * Familiarity with configuration management standards such as ISO 10007. * Familiarity with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) and interface management solutions. * Exposure to Digital Rehearsal or other simulation and modelling technologies in a project context. * TOGAF certified practitioner qualification.
