We are not looking for someone who simply plays the game and reports that something is broken. We need someone who investigates why it broke, under what conditions, and how reliably it can be reproduced., * Does the issue reproduce from a fresh save? * Does it reproduce from an existing save? * Does it happen in sandbox mode? * Is it present on another branch? * Does it reproduce on the latest main branch? * What is the smallest possible setup that still causes the problem? Bug Investigation You should be comfortable collecting everything developers need to investigate an issue: * Clear reproduction steps * Save files * Screenshots and videos * Logs * Build and branch information * Hardware specifications when relevant You should understand reproducibility, regression risk, and how to isolate the conditions required for a bug to occur. Testing Experience We are looking for experience with: * Initial build verification * Regression testing * Exploratory testing * Feature verification * Systematic checklist-driven testing * Testing complete gameplay loops before releases Community and Player Reports Part of the role involves investigating issues reported by players. You should be comfortable taking an incomplete or unclear player report, asking the right questions, reproducing the issue, and turning it into a useful development task. Experience communicating professionally with players and gaming communities is a strong advantage., * Update your CV if needed, proofread, and fix any errors. * Make sure your CV reflects and highlights the main skills required for the job. * Take some time to research the company, try to understand their kind of games and work culture. * Write a cover letter. This is your chance to draw their attention. Show why you're a good candidate, and you can show you have researched their company and why you're interested in applying. * Make sure to include your portfolio link if you have one. Any open source projects might be of great value as well.
