Our mission is to explore how new technologies can unlock entirely new operating and business models in this industry. As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you'll serve as the operational backbone of this initiative: driving end-to-end launches, owning the product roadmap, and managing critical partnerships. You'll interface directly with Amazon's senior leadership and C-level executives across the energy landscape to build a zero-to-one business from the ground up. If you thrive in ambiguity, love owning roadmaps from concept to live, and want to define a new industry standard, this role is for you., Own end-to-end launches: Drive partnership launches (utility, OEM, and aggregator integrations) and product launches, managing cross-team dependencies, readiness criteria, and the complete path from agreement to live production. Develop and manage the product roadmap: Set priorities, sequence work, and translate product intent into engineering plans while keeping the roadmap current as the business evolves. Drive technical strategy: Balance business priorities with feasibility, anticipate constraints, and apply data-driven risk mitigation to ensure timely execution. Manage initiative lifecycles: Oversee initiatives from design and implementation through documentation and measurement, breaking complex challenges into actionable projects and defining success metrics to track performance. Lead cross-functional collaboration: Facilitate alignment between engineering, product, science, and business teams to ensure shared vision and priorities while translating technical concepts for business audiences and business needs for technical teams. Manage technical partnerships: Serve as the primary program owner for utility, OEM, and aggregator partnerships, working directly with partner engineering teams to design, deliver, and maintain integrations while resolving production issues.
