## About the Role

* Significant experience working as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer or similar Infrastructure focused role.
 * Experience supporting secure platforms and technical environments.
 * Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains.
 * Hands-on experience with environment configuration, deployment and operational support.
 * Experience with automated testing and deployment.
 * Practical experience administering Elastic/Kibana, including creating and maintaining dashboards.
 * Experience supporting systems within regulated, security-conscious or highly controlled environments, such as within central government or law enforcement.
 * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
 * Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
 * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
 * Due to the nature of the client, it would be an advantage for candidates to hold, or be eligible and willing to undergo, a certain level of security clearance (SC/NPPV3).

## Description

* Configure and maintain secure platform environments across development, test and production.
 * Support the deployment and release of applications and platform components.
 * Develop and maintain automated testing and deployment processes.
 * Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and broader DevOps toolchains and practices.
 * Administer and maintain Elastic/Kibana, including dashboards, monitoring and operational visibility.
 * Support platform availability, performance and reliability, responding to operational issues as required.
 * Investigate and resolve technical issues across platform and deployment environments.
 * Automate repetitive processes to improve efficiency, consistency and reliability.
 * Work closely with developers, testers, architects and operational teams to improve platform delivery.
 * Follow appropriate security, governance and change-management processes within a regulated environment.
 * Contribute to continuous improvement of platform engineering and DevOps practices.
