## About the Role

* Proven software engineering fundamentals and practical system design skills, with experience building scalable, reliable microservices and tools.
 * Proficiency in Go or Python (with a preference for Go).
 * Hands-on experience building and deploying services in cloud environments (AWS preferred, or Google Cloud Platform equivalent).
 * Solid foundational knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes concepts.
 * Strong security domain context, including an understanding of the attacker lifecycle, application security concepts, and hands-on experience developing or integrating security tooling.
 * A pragmatic, curious, and collaborative mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguous problem spaces and independently identify high-value engineering solutions.

Bonus Points

 * Experience applying AI, LLMs, or agentic frameworks to solve complex security problems.
 * Background in developer productivity, security automation, or toil-reduction initiatives.
 * Deep Application Security (AppSec) experience, bug bounty participation, or CTF competition experience.
 * Advanced Kubernetes experience or a track record of building enterprise security platforms at scale.
