## Description

SC Cleared Oracle Database Administrator/DBA (Oracle 11g) - Remote UK- Outside IR35 - 3 months+, My client is a global IT consultancy. They are seeking an experienced Oracle 11g Database Administrator to join a structured production support team responsible for maintaining business critical systems operating within a 24 by 7 live service environment.

This role focuses on operational stability, incident resolution, performance optimisation and secure database management across a high availability Oracle estate.

The Role

You will provide 2nd and 3rd line database support for Oracle 11g databases supporting critical production services. Working closely with application support, infrastructure and service management teams, you will ensure availability, resilience and performance in line with agreed service levels.

The position operates within a formal ITIL aligned support model and includes participation in a 24 by 7 support rota, including out of hours and major incident response., Provide production support for Oracle 11g databases within a 24 by 7 live service environment
Diagnose and resolve incidents, including priority and major incidents
Perform database performance tuning and optimisation
Manage RMAN backup and recovery processes
Support Data Guard and disaster recovery arrangements
Implement database changes through controlled change management processes
Apply security patches and maintain compliance standards
Produce and maintain operational documentation and support runbooks
