## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline
 * ~2 years of software engineering or related development experience
 * Working knowledge of software development, integration, debugging, and testing methodologies

## Description

As a Software Engineer II within Honeywell Next Generation Avionics (NGA), you will be part of a team of engineers, developers and designers creating and implementing cutting-edge avionics solutions on the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck platform.In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact the advancement of cutting-edge avionics technologies that improve the efficiency, reliability, and safety of aircraft systems, helping to shape the future of aerospace innovation.

As a flagship product, the Honeywell Anthem Flight Deck System is not just another avionics product; it is a visionary endeavor that employs cutting-edge technologies to redefine how pilots interact with flight information and aircraft systems.

 * Develop, implement, test, and maintain avionics software applications and components
 * Contribute to software architecture, design, coding, and integration activities
 * Participate in software verification, validation, and testing throughout the development lifecycle
 * Perform software impact analysis, debugging, and root cause investigations
 * Support certification activities, software compliance documentation, and quality processes
 * Collaborate with systems, hardware, and test engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions
