The focus of the position may be on specified technologies, or on a specific group of customers. This role is expected to be an expert in their focus area and will act as a trusted advisor to the company's customers. This individual would have detailed knowledge of a given product line, from software and hardware perspective and the connectivity issues associated with these products. This person would know the past product family along with updating their knowledge on a going forward basis. The Design Engineer II must demonstrate consultative skills with an emphasis on partner enablement. Enablement and educational responsibilities will involve leading in person training, demonstrating the technology, and representing the company at industry events as a subject matter expert.
