## About the Role

* Strong AWS engineering experience, including cloud architecture, configuration, and application development.
 * Experience designing data pipelines from third-party tools into AWS accounts.
 * Working knowledge of AWS IAM roles and related configuration settings.
 * Experience using GitHub for code management, including infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and security application build work.
 * Ability to design, build, and manage an analytics framework that enables correlation, automation, and normalization of security logs for CSOC analysts.
 * Experience designing requirements, executing validation tests, and identifying optimization opportunities.
 * Ability to develop scalable data management interfaces and software components across cloud and on-prem environments.
 * Experience with SIEM and/or data lake environments and integrations (Splunk, AWS, Azure, or similar).
 * Strong verbal and written communication skills.
 * Self-starter mindset, able to work with minimal supervision while collaborating across teams.
 * Strong analytical/problem-solving ability, including working with unstructured datasets and driving root-cause analysis.

Nice to Have Skills:

 * Knowledge of various SIEM query languages.
 * Broader experience with security toolsets such as firewalls, SQL databases, audit logs, authentication systems, and anti-virus tooling.

Other Requirements:

 * Must comply with 10 CFR Part 810.
 * This is a virtual position, but candidates must be located in (NC, SC, FL, KY, or OH).
