## About the Role

* Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
 * Experience in product design within a manufacturing or heavy engineering environment
 * Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, Creo, or similar)
 * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
 * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
 * Good communication skills and a proactive approach

Desirable:

 * Experience with FEA or design analysis tools
 * Knowledge of fabrication, hydraulics, or heavy machinery design

## Description

As Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of heavy equipment products. Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering innovative and cost-effective design solutions from concept through to production., * Producing 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software

 * Supporting new product development and continuous improvement initiatives
 * Liaising with manufacturing, production, and supply chain teams to ensure design feasibility
 * Conducting design calculations and analysis to validate performance and safety requirements
 * Managing design changes and maintaining accurate engineering documentation
 * Supporting prototype builds and testing activities
