As AI adoption accelerates and autonomous agents are created at unprecedented speed, identity has become a critical control plane for enterprise security. Our team plays a central role in ensuring these agents are properly governed, trusted, and managed across their lifecycle. Our team is deeply committed to technical excellence, mutual support, and continuous growth, dedicated to securing and scaling our enterprise-level identity and access management solutions. We believe that the best engineering happens in an environment built on trust, psychological safety, and open collaboration., As a Software Engineering Technical Leader, you will help shape the systems, policies, and engineering patterns that enable the enterprise to innovate with AI safely, responsibly, and at scale. You will apply specialized expertise to solve complex problems, take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions, and guide our technical vision. You will manage workstreams holistically across multiple teams, ensuring engineering priorities align with stakeholders' needs while remaining hands-on in the codebase. Responsibilities include: * Translate and influence our strategic vision into a clear technical direction. You will manage workstreams holistically, lead projects that span multiple teams, and actively shape our software engineering roadmap. * Drive critical architectural decisions with a deep focus on security, scalability, and reliability. You will actively contribute to the threat modeling of our products to ensure robust security. * Actively mentor peers and team members, fostering a warm culture of continuous learning. You will facilitate knowledge-sharing initiatives such as design sessions, brownbags, and technical demos. * While your primary focus will be on technical leadership, architecture, and mentoring, you will maintain a steady, active presence in the codebase. You will regularly dedicate focused time to building technical prototypes, personally implementing high-risk components, and writing clean, production-grade code that sets the standard for the team. * Proactively identify, prioritize, and resolve risks in production systems. You will design and implement robust monitoring tools to increase system visibility, lead constructive postmortems, and ensure reliable on-call support. * Build and maintain collaborative, cross-functional relationships. You will scope complex work accurately, communicate delivery of trade-offs, and negotiate with partners to align on outcomes. ## Related Videos - [Keeping applications secure by evolving OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100152-keeping-applications-secure-by-evolving-oauth-2-0-and-openid-connect) - [Our journey with Spring Boot in a microservice architecture](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/511-our-journey-with-spring-boot-in-a-microservice-architecture) - [Collaborative Intelligence: The Human & AI Partnership](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1097-collaborative-intelligence-the-human-ai-partnership) - [Get started with securing your cloud-native Java microservices applications](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/123-get-started-with-securing-your-cloud-native-java-microservices-applications) - [Delay the AI Overlords: How OAuth and OpenFGA Can Keep Your AI Agents from Going Rogue](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1637-delay-the-ai-overlords-how-oauth-and-openfga-can-keep-your-ai-agents-from-going-rogue) - [The Software Engineer 2030: From Coder To AI Orchestrator? - Patrick Schnell](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1825-the-software-engineer-2030-from-coder-to-ai-orchestrator-patrick-schnell) ## Related Articles - [How We Built a Worry-Free System That Runs for 10+ Years – And What We’d Do Again](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/751-how-we-built-a-worry-free-system-that-runs-for-10-years-and-what-we-d-do-again) - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [MLOps And AI Driven Development](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/82-mlops-and-ai-driven-development) - [Coffee with Developers - Maria Apazoglou - Making AI understandable for all in production](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/475-coffee-with-developers-maria-apazoglou-making-ai-understandable-for-all-in-production) - [The Best X (Twitter) Accounts for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/294-the-best-x-twitter-accounts-for-developers)
