Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you'll make an impact on national security missions., * 5+ years of experience with network engineering and the design of IT systems or networks for large commercial enterprises or government agencies

 * 3+ years of experience with leading teams of technical staff in the design, build, and integration of IT solutions
 * Experience with routing protocols and topologies, including BGP, MPLS, VRF, or VPN technologies, including IPsec, GRE, DMVPN, or VRRP
 * Experience with conducting network discovery, including analyzing and documenting system requirements
 * Experience with designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure in multi-region and environments
 * Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel, be detail-oriented, and multitask and prioritize
 * TS/SCI clearance
 * HS diploma or GED, * Experience with designing and implementing Cloud-native and over-the-top networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP
 * Experience with firewall design and network security, including Device Hardening, intrusion detection systems and intrusion prevention systems, SIEM, Firewalls, and Internet Protocol Security, vulnerability assessment, and intrusion detection
 * Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and F5 Load Balancers
 * Knowledge of DoD IT and Cloud security policies, including STIGs and DoD Cloud SRG, and applying them to the design and implementation of Cloud solutions
 * Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking, prior publications, and speaking engagements in industry or vendor forums
 * Bachelor's degree

## Description

As a network engineer on our team, you'll use your experience in network design and architecture, system interoperability, OSI model, network transport layers, multi-protocol label switching, gateway protocol, virtual routing, and forwarding to support the nation's defense and respond to evolving adversaries. You'll develop enterprise-wide infrastructure design, troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, analyze current working infrastructures, and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems. You'll apply your expertise in routing and switching, network design and architecture, system interoperability, IP engineering, network transport layers, multi-protocol label switching, gateway protocol, virtual routing, and forwarding as you guide our team of problem-solvers to help the DoD evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies.
