Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Data Specialist - **Company:** Fall Mountain Regional School District - **Location:** Langdon, NH, United States - **Experience:** Experienced - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Backup Devices, Databases, Data Mining, Data Systems, Data Warehousing, Database Applications, Database Queries, Disaster Recovery, Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS), Pearson PowerSchool, RSA (Cryptosystem), Student Information Systems, Custom Reports - **Published:** August 18, 2026 - **Apply:** https://k12jobspot.com/Job/5679022 ## About the Role * Associate's Degree in a technical field related to Information, Database or Media * 3-5 years experience supporting PowerSchool or other similar school data systems, with demonstrated proficiency in state reporting. * Experience with PowerSchool specifically customization of PowerSchool pages and fields preferred. * Demonstrated ability to run data queries, create custom reports and manipulate data for analysis. * Demonstrated knowledge of advanced Excel and Word. * Basic knowledge of SQL and other database query tools. * Ability to work independently, along with strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with and provide technical support to all levels of users, strongly preferred. ## Description The Data Specialist is primarily responsible for performing daily functions in order to maintain the integrity and accuracy of student data between the District's student information system (PowerSchool) and the State's student data system, while also providing guidance and support in entering data, so as to ensure accurate and timely submission to meet reporting deadlines. The Data Specialist provides professional development to teachers and other staff in the use of student assessment information and database construction/query strategies for improvement of instruction. The Data Specialist will develop, update and support data warehouses for all school needs as expressed by the Administrative Team. In addition, the Data Specialist will perform all functions related to State and Federal Reporting., * Manages all aspects of the District's student information system (SIS).
