This role requires someone who has experience liaising with hardware vendors and researching the best technology for the purpose.As a Hardware Engineer, you will liaise with the IT and Systems team and incorporate the hardware choices in Windows and Linux environments.The ideal candidate will have:7+ years of experience in an IT Support/Desktop role focusing on hardware.In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, desktop technologies, audio/video etc.Good experience integrating and troubleshooting driver issues in Windows OSExcellent communicator with the ability to explain complex issues with accuracyPowershell is a mustHave a strong understanding of hardware options and be able to provide in-depth written assessments of different hardware options.Advanced knowledge of Active Directory/DNS/DHCPExperience working in a fast paced environment.An eagerness to learn and strong attention to detailThis role suits a candidate who has had responsibility early on in their career, someone who has worked in smaller agile companies with continual change.
