As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and enhance scalable applications, APIs, and integrations while collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions. You'll leverage modern technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, REST/SOAP APIs, DB2, JavaScript, React, and Kubernetes to solve complex business challenges, improve operational efficiency, and drive innovation across the insurance platform ecosystem. Strong problem-solving skills, a passion for continuous learning, and experience with Agile development practices are key to success in this role. * Develop, test, maintain, and support application features and enhancements using Java, REST/SOAP APIs and DB2 technologies. * Gain a robust understanding of all functional and technical aspects of a system policy system and it's integrations. * Produce significant new system functionality or defect resolution with minimal direction. * Create design specifications that demonstrate an understanding of most interfacing systems and supported business processes.
