* 7+ years of professional experience in software development, or equivalent experience with an advanced degree.
 * Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Framework.
 * Experience developing microservices-based applications.
 * Solid understanding of object-oriented design, software design patterns, and coding principles.
 * Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Sybase.
 * Ability to design and build scalable, highly available distributed systems.
 * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical ideas clearly.
 * Experience working in agile software development environments.

Preferred Skills

 * Python scripting experience.
 * Experience with cloud platforms and native services, especially AWS or Azure.
 * Hands-on knowledge of containers, Kubernetes, and service mesh technologies.
 * Experience building cloud-based software using open source frameworks and tools.
 * Background in performance analysis and application optimization.
 * Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
 * Ability to work effectively with global teams and adapt to changing priorities.
 * Comfort engaging with technical and business stakeholders in a collaborative setting.

## Description

* Design, develop, and enhance backend services and platform components for a high-visibility business unit.
 * Participate in technical design discussions, whiteboarding sessions, and solution reviews with engineering peers.
 * Build and support microservices that are reliable, scalable, and maintainable.
 * Write clean, high-quality code and contribute to unit testing and code quality improvements.
 * Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members in a fast-moving agile environment.
 * Help define interfaces and data exchange between modules and services.
 * Support performance tuning, optimization, and best practices for highly distributed applications.
 * Contribute to release and deployment processes as part of ongoing delivery efforts.
