Qualifications We Prefer: * Experience in software development with secure coding practices. * Experience with automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development environments. * Knowledge of software security principles, risk mitigation, and vulnerability management. * Linux, scripting (Python, Perl, Shell). * Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS Cloud. * Experience in cryptographic system design and implementation. * Exposure to system engineering principles and full software lifecycle execution. * Experience with Git, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Coverity. ## Description As a Software Engineer, DevSecOps Engineering I you will support core data engineering and DevSecOps efforts by assisting in the development of data ingestion pipelines, automation workflows, and CI/CD processes. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, the position helps build and maintain database structures, develop scripts for data processing and integration, and contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code practices to ensure consistent environments. The role also supports containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, evaluates DevSecOps tools, and assists in modernizing legacy workflows while promoting secure data handling throughout the software delivery lifecycle. This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered. This role is categorized as hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager. What YOU will do: * Support development of CI/CD pipelines that automate build, test, and deployment workflows. * Research and evaluate DevSecOps tools for automation, containerization, and software delivery improvement.
