## About the Role

You'll ideally have:

 * A Bachelor's degree equivalent in AI, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, Medical Device Software, or a related discipline.
 * 4+ years of post-graduate experience in AI/ML model development, ideally within a regulated industry or research environment.
 * Knowledge of AI regulations, standards, and relevant guidance.
 * Experience in at least two AI/ML areas, such as deep learning, neural networks, supervised/unsupervised learning, classification, regression, fuzzy logic, probabilistic methods, optimization, LLMs, or biometrics.
 * Knowledge of software development lifecycles and risk management.
 * Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
 * The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across a global, multidisciplinary team.

## Description

* Review technical documentation and assess AI systems against applicable regulatory requirements and standards.
 * Support AI conformity assessments and provide technical guidance to clients and internal teams.
 * Participate in client meetings and support CE marking and certification activities.
 * Provide AI technical expertise, mentoring, and guidance to colleagues.
 * Support the development of AI assessment procedures, tools, training, and testing methodologies.
 * Participate in internal projects developing and testing AI tools to enhance BSI's assessment processes.
 * Support accreditation, quality, and continuous improvement activities.
 * Identify opportunities to apply AI expertise across BSI's services and processes.
