Designs, creates, tests and maintains innovative medical research-focused "big data" repositories. Provide technical support to programmers using the databases for reporting and statistical analysis for large public and private grant support. Works cooperatively with teams who have diverse skill sets to solve complex problems that require robust, scalable medical research database solutions., * Design and implement custom, research project-specific database infrastructure solutions for data collection, management, reporting and analytics. Solutions need to be both efficient and comprehensive, taking into account reusability and maintainability. * Provide development, maintenance and modification of numerous large and complex medical research data sources and overall data architecture to provide information infrastructure for growing empirical research needs. * Collaborate with local investigators, staff and biostatisticians to understand requirements, sources of data, organization of data, and develop database solutions.
