## About the Role

+ Minimaal hbo-werk- en denkniveau;
 + Relevante ervaring met information security of IT-risk;
 + Kennis van ISO 27001, ISMS en risicomanagement;
 + Affiniteit met NIS2 en security governance;
 + Ervaring met consultancy is welkom;
 + Je beschikt over sterke adviesvaardigheden;
 + Je bent analytisch en tegelijkertijd pragmatisch;
 + Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal;
 + Certificeringen zoals CISM, CISSP, CISA, CRISC of ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer zijn gewenst of je bent bereid deze te behalen.

## Description

Voor mijn klant in Breda zoek ik een Information Security Consultant die graag organisaties adviseert over digitale risico's en informatiebeveiliging. Je gaat werken bij een adviesorganisatie die klanten helpt om security niet alleen technisch, maar juist organisatiebreed goed neer te zetten. Governance, processen, mensen en technologie komen hier samen.
De werkomgeving is professioneel zonder onnodige hiërarchie. Consultants krijgen verantwoordelijkheid en worden aangemoedigd om hun eigen expertise verder te ontwikkelen. Er wordt bovendien veel waarde gehecht aan kennisdeling, waardoor je regelmatig met collega's spart over nieuwe wetgeving, frameworks en complexe klantcases.

In deze functie ben je voor klanten een inhoudelijke sparringpartner op het gebied van information security. Je onderzoekt hoe volwassen de beveiligingsorganisatie is, brengt risico's in kaart en adviseert over de maatregelen die nodig zijn om die risico's beheersbaar te maken.
Je kunt verantwoordelijk worden voor ISO 27001-implementaties, maturity assessments, interne audits en het ontwikkelen van informatiebeveiligingsbeleid. Ook ondersteun je organisaties bij NIS2-vraagstukken en help je bepalen welke organisatorische en technische maatregelen prioriteit verdienen.
Een belangrijk onderdeel van de functie is het meenemen van stakeholders. Je vertaalt normen en risico's naar begrijpelijke consequenties en concrete acties. Daardoor blijft jouw advies niet op papier staan, maar kan de klant er daadwerkelijk mee aan de slag.
