## Description

This position sits within our technical team, focusing on the visual and interactive elements of our proprietary software. As a junior engineer, you will work closely with our design and development teams to ensure that our tools are both aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate. You will contribute to a codebase that prioritizes stability and clear logic over experimental trends. This is a fully remote role that requires a high level of individual focus and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. What you will do

 * Translate design mockups into functional web components using standard web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
 * Participate in code reviews to ensure consistency and maintainability across the user interface codebase.
 * Collaborate with backend developers to integrate interface elements with internal data services.
 * Test interfaces for accessibility and performance to ensure a smooth user experience across different devices and browsers.
 * Maintain and update documentation for the firm's UI component library to help other team members.
 * Identify and resolve layout issues or visual bugs within existing applications.
 * Provide feedback during the design phase to help refine user workflows and interface logic.
 * Participate in regular team syncs to discuss progress and coordinate on technical requirements in a remote setting.
