## About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Data & Migration Developer with strong experience in ETL, data migration, SQL scripting, and Azure-based applications. The consultant will work on data migration activities, data quality, and integration within an Azure-focused environment., * 4-6 years of relevant professional experience.

 * Strong hands-on experience with ETL processes.
 * Proven experience with data migration concepts and projects.
 * Strong data and migration expertise, preferably within Azure-based environments.
 * Experience with COTS applications and associated data migration activities.
 * Ability to identify, analyse, and resolve data quality issues.
 * Strong SQL scripting skills.
 * Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
 * Experience with Azure DevOps.
 * Experience working in an Agile way of working.
 * Knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting and text-processing tools.
 * Experience with MySQL.

 * Experience with large-scale Azure data migration projects.
 * Experience integrating or migrating data between COTS applications.
 * Knowledge of additional Azure data and integration services.
 * Experience with data validation and reconciliation during migrations., The ideal candidate is a technically strong Data/Migration Developer who can independently handle ETL and migration activities, troubleshoot data quality problems, and work effectively with SQL and Azure technologies in an Agile environment., {'@type': 'EducationalOccupationalCredential', 'credentialCategory': 'bachelor degree'}

## Description

* Design, develop, and support ETL processes and data migration activities.
 * Work on data migration projects involving primarily Azure-based applications and COTS solutions.
 * Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues.
 * Develop and maintain SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, validation, and migration.
 * Support data integration and migration activities across different systems.
 * Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders in an Agile environment.
 * Use Azure DevOps for development, source control, and project collaboration.
 * Perform data processing and automation using Unix Shell Scripting and text-processing tools where required.
