## About the Role

* Attitude: honest and constructive. You have the real conversations, and you'll challenge something that doesn't make sense, kindly, with an alternative in hand.
 * Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer, designing, building, and maintaining scalable, reliable data platforms and pipelines in production environments.
 * Azure data engineering: hands-on across the Azure stack, including SQL Server and Databricks. You build platforms, not just wire them together.
 * Data modelling: Kimball dimensional modelling is second nature.
 * Impact over output: you think about what the work changes, not just the code you ship.
 * Communication: you can take something genuinely complex and make it land, for a teammate or a non-technical client, without needing someone else to translate for you.
 * Track record: at least one role you stayed in long enough to deliver something real, and recent proof you keep learning, a new tool, a cert, an idea you ran with.
 * Nice to have: a real IT education and solid software-engineering foundations, functional and object-oriented programming. Data Vault, logistics or industrial data experience, and Dutch are pluses too.
