Als Information Security Consultant help je klanten om hun informatiebeveiliging naar een hoger niveau te brengen. Je brengt bestaande maatregelen en processen in kaart, voert risico- en gap-analyses uit en bepaalt samen met de klant waar verbeteringen nodig zijn.
Je kunt bijvoorbeeld betrokken zijn bij het opzetten, implementeren of verbeteren van een ISMS, het begeleiden van ISO 27001-trajecten of het voorbereiden van organisaties op verplichtingen rondom NIS2. Daarnaast voer je assessments uit, adviseer je over beveiligingsbeleid en help je klanten om risico's te vertalen naar praktische maatregelen.
Daarbij schakel je regelmatig met IT-professionals, securityspecialisten, proceseigenaren en management. Juist die combinatie van inhoud en communicatie maakt deze functie interessant.
