This is a hands-on contract role spanning infrastructure design, IoT/OT systems, network security, automation, and stakeholder engagement across globally distributed teams.You will lead and support PoC, RFP, and RFE initiatives across diverse platforms, working closely with Networks, SecDesign, Proxy, Risk, and Windows engineering teams - including engaging directly with external vendors to validate products against firm security policies.A key element involves IoT systems including Building Management Systems (BMS), lighting controls, occupancy sensors, and air quality monitoring. You should be comfortable operating across multiple device platforms (Android, Windows, Linux, Unix, iOS) and working with international partners across time zones.Key responsibilitiesLead and support infrastructure
PoC/RFP/RFE initiatives across diverse enterprise platforms.Administer applications with full lifecycle ownership, ensuring seamless request flow and network integration.Manage and troubleshoot network and security configurations: routers, switches, load balancers, proxies, firewalls, DMZ, IPs, ports, subnets, MAC addresses, and authentication protocols (RBAC, Kerberos, SSO, LDAP, AD).Perform server administration across Windows, Linux, Mac, and vendor-specific ecosystems (e.g., CA, BMC, IBM DataPower).Develop and maintain automation scripts in PowerShell, Python, Perl, or Shell to streamline operations at scale.Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure delivery.Engage stakeholders and business customers - gathering requirements, providing updates, and ensuring satisfaction across complex technology programmes.Support, troubleshoot, and upgrade IoT/OT devices across Android, Windows, Linux, Unix, and iOS - including BMS, lighting, occupancy, and air quality
