## About the Role

* 5+ years' professional software development experience
 * Strong C# and .NET experience, including .NET Framework
 * Experience developing RESTful APIs using ASP.NET
 * Strong Microsoft SQL Server experience
 * Experience with Microsoft Azure and Linux-hosted applications
 * Comfortable working with both modern and legacy systems
 * Experience with Git/GitHub and agile development
 * Able to work independently and take ownership from requirement through to delivery
 * Strong communication and problem-solving skills
 * A collaborative approach and willingness to share technical knowledge
 * Interest in Power Platform and AI technologies

## Description

Think Specialist Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading organisation based within the Watford area to recruit a Senior Developer to join their expanding team.
This is a well established company that are looking to grow their internal IT team, with a view of further developing their brilliant customer portal.
This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to influence the organisation's technology direction. This person will be joining a team of 3, and be part of a team that will further grow due to the internal IT team growth and development of their customer portal.

Salary - up to £75,000 depending on experience plus great benefits
Hybrid working with 3 days in and 2 days from home

Some of the duties will include:

 * Take ownership of the development and maintenance of the internal customer portal
 * Develop and enhance C#/.NET applications and RESTful APIs
 * Build and maintain integrations with databases and business systems
 * Develop robust, secure and maintainable solutions
 * Work across both modern and legacy codebases
 * Contribute to the modernisation of the technology estate
 * Develop new internal tools and applications using Microsoft technologies
 * Work with Azure, Power Platform and emerging AI technologies
 * Participate in code reviews, testing and agile delivery
 * Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues
 * Troubleshoot application and integration issues
 * Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver solutions
