Please note this is not a live position., The Reliability Engineer is responsible for improving the reliability, integrity, and safety of equipment and systems across operations. This role uses data-driven analysis, engineering principles, and proactive maintenance strategies to reduce failures, optimise asset life, and support safe, cost effective operations., 1. Asset Reliability & Performance * Analyse asset performance data to identify trends, recurring failures, and improvement opportunities * Develop and maintain asset reliability models, including criticality assessments and failure mode analysis * Implement reliability centred maintenance (RCM), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA/FMECA), and condition monitoring strategies 2. Maintenance Strategy Development * Optimise preventive and predictive maintenance plans to ensure efficient asset care * Recommend maintenance task changes based on reliability insights and operational performance * Support digitalisation of maintenance data, KPIs, and dashboards 3. Equipment Failure Investigation * Lead or support root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and integrity issues * Develop corrective and preventive actions, tracking implementation and effectiveness 4. Surveillance & Ownership * Support Pro Active Technical Monitoring and Exception Based Surveillance * Conduct reviews of content and implementation of Technical Monitoring Plans (TMP's) * Support and provide guidance on frontline surveillance and equipment ownership 5. Reliability Tools & Methods * Skill at Apply techniques such as: + Condition monitoring (vibration, thermography, lubrication analysis) + Reliability statistics and modelling * Knowledge of techniques such as: + Reliability growth and RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) modelling + Weibull analysis 6. Continuous Improvement & Standards * Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce unplanned downtime and optimise cost of ownership * Ensure compliance with asset integrity standards, engineering procedures, and safety regulations * Support engineering design reviews to incorporate reliability into new projects and modifications 7.
