We are looking for a developer who can navigate logic, manage state, and help us build maintainable solutions.We have a fantastic city center office in the heart of Edinburgh and fully embrace a hybrid home/office working model, with an aim for 2 days in the office.Job DescriptionAnalyzes, develops, maintains software for the organization's products and systems. Familiarity with/interest in engineering patterns and best practices.Develops, validates, and tests: can build tested, maintainable code and debug when necessary.Implements state management patterns and API integrations to support a scaling ecosystem.Delivery: basic understanding of CI/CD principles and deployment, Git.Communicates: comfortable collaborating with other teams on solutions and reaching out for information/requirements when necessary.Basic RequirementsExperience: 1-3 years of software engineering experience with knowledge of HTML, CSS, TypeScript
and ideally modern frontend frameworks.Logic & State: Understanding of application state patterns, data flows (e.g., Pinia, Vuex, or Redux) and reactivity/observables.API & Infrastructure: hands-on experience with RESTful API, websockets.. Solid understanding of web development principles.Engineering Mindset: a good foundation in data structures/algorithms and design patterns.
