## About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in data engineering and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, Snowflake, Databricks, and Microsoft Azure and will be responsible for developing scalable data solutions, building data pipelines, and working with large datasets in a cloud environment.

Mandatory Skills

 * Strong hands-on development experience with Python
 * Experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing and transformation
 * Strong working knowledge of Snowflake, including data modeling, querying, and performance optimization
 * Hands-on experience with Databricks and Spark-based data processing
 * Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure-based data services
 * Experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines
 * Strong SQL and data-processing skills
 * Experience working with large-scale and complex datasets
 * Ability to troubleshoot data, performance, and integration issues
 * Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

 * Experience with Microsoft Fabric
 * Familiarity with modern cloud data architectures and data lake/lakehouse concepts
 * Experience with CI/CD and version-control practices for data engineering projects, * Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
 * Strong hands-on experience in Python-based data engineering/development
 * Proven experience with Python, PySpark, Snowflake, Databricks, and Microsoft Azure
 * Ability to work onsite in Des Moines, Iowa
 * Candidates must be able to work on a W2 contract

## Description

* Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable data applications using Python and PySpark
 * Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing
 * Build data solutions using Snowflake and Databricks
 * Develop and support cloud-based data solutions within Microsoft Azure
 * Perform data transformations, integrations, and performance optimization
 * Collaborate with data engineers, architects, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements
 * Troubleshoot production issues and ensure reliability and performance of data pipelines
 * Follow coding standards, documentation practices, and development best practices
 * Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities
