## About the Role

Ideal candidates combine LCA expertise, natural curiosity, business acumen and highly structured organisational skills with the ability to translate complex environmental data into decision-ready insights., * Ability to translate complex sustainability data into clear, business-relevant insights

 * Experience working cross-functionally with Research & Development, supply chain, and process engineering teams
 * Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
 * Familiarity with sustainability frameworks (e.g. PCRs, EPDs, TfS) is essential and familiarity with ESG reporting is an advantage, * Relevant experience including hands-on LCA modeling experience
 * Degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Engineering, or related field
 * Proven experience in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and report writing
 * Advanced proficiency in LCA modelling software, Cargill are using SimaPro but experience in any market equivalent essential
 * Strong knowledge of PCF methodologies and sustainability standards, ideally extending to interpreting PCRs and producing EPDs
 * Experience working with complex datasets and engineering modeling

## Description

Location: York (primary) or Hull, Manchester or London - 3 days per week in office. Position is a permanent full time role Monday-Friday, * Complete LCA modeling starting with data collection, validation, plausibility checks and modelling based on production processes

 * Respond to customer requests including sustainability data requests e.g. product carbon footprint and ESG queries
 * Support the CBI sustainability team in responding to customer needs
